On Friday, July 29, 2011, during the general membership meeting held at the Lionel Collectors Club of America’s (LCCA) 41st Annual Convention in the Hyatt Regency DFW hotel, incoming President Elect and product manager Lou Caponi announced the latest LCCA exclusive limited edition special sale offering of a pair of Lionel General steam locomotive engines commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War’s “The Great Train Chase.” These limited edition engines will be produced by Lionel exclusively for sale to LCCA members only.
