Relive Nashville and a Lionel Greetings to Concord!
Relive the 2022 LCCA National Convention in Nashville with the LCCA post- convention video. Whether you attended the convention, or just want to see what you missed, this video has it all. It begins with the train ride which launched the convention and provides all the highlights, including most of the venues visited by LCCA attendees.
Convention week began with a surprise visit to the Grand Olde Opry, followed with an extended train ride on the Tennessee Central Railroad. The remainder of the week was spent seeing many of the most popular sites in Nashville. On Wednesday evening we took a river cruise on the General Jackson Steamboat and were treated to an evening of wonderful musical entertainment. Speaking of entertainment, it continued at the GAP with ‘Riding the Rails!’ Friday featured the traditional Lionel Seminar. It concluded with each member receiving a specially painted truck with trailer courtesy of our friends from Lionel, LLC. Friday evening the trading hall opened and continued operating through Saturday. The convention concluded with the banquet on Saturday evening. For the entire week the lobby of the ballroom was full of Lionel/LCCA Modular layouts. There were five layouts in total. These layouts came from 7 different clubs and 5 different states! In all, the layouts featured 108 modules with over 1,300 feet of track. The layouts were able to run a total of 17 trains. WOW!

With our Nashville gathering successfully completed, the LCCA turns its attention to the LCCA 2023 National Convention in Concord, NC, home of Lionel! The club looks forward to working closely with our Lionel friends in planning the best ever LCCA convention. The folks at Lionel are looking forward to greeting us in Concord and have graciously provided a video introduction. #LCCAConcord
The LCCA and all the Lionel staff look forward to meeting our LCCA Members at the 2023 Concord convention. Registration opens in February 2023. Many events are expected to fill up and sell out. Those attending are encouraged to register early. #LCCAConcord.
