The LCCA Supports Local Special Events

Not all Junior members of the LCCA know that our club supports many “Local Special Events” that local train clubs and other organizations host for hobbyists every year.  Your parents, grandparents and fellow hobbyists that you know – and maybe you have attended one of these Local Special Events in the past.  These events usually are held on the weekends throughout the year.  The events usually have train layouts set up and running as well as many vendors who have train items for sale.  Most of these events charge admission to attend their event.

If you are interested in finding out if there is a special event in your area, ask your parents or another adult to go to our LCCA website at Local Special Events Calendar to see the upcoming Local Special Events around the country.  It is another great way to enjoy our great hobby.  You might even take a few pictures of the event and send them with a short article to Patrick Cudzilo for The Lion Cub!
