LIONEL COLLECTORS CLUB CONVENTION DIETARY POLICY
The LCCA has released its Convention Dietary Policy for the 2025 Scranton and all future LCCA conventions. The LCCA wants every attendee to have the best possible experience, but it cannot provide nor guarantee the unique dietary needs of individual attendees on tours.
The LCCA is aware of the need for special dietary requirements by some of our members. If you, or someone in your party, requires certain food at our hotel-based functions, we will do our best to meet your needs. These functions include the Get Acquainted Party and the Banquet.
Because of the logistics of providing and delivering special food requests on the buses during convention tours, those with special dietary needs should source their meals on their own, in advance. We ask you to check with the LCCA person at the sign-in desk when you arrive to request special dietary needs meals at hotel functions and for help in sourcing special food items for the bus tours you have scheduled during the convention.
- Members with dietary requirements on tours must provide their own unique dietary meals dictated by their individual needs.
- It is not possible for the LCCA to guarantee any special meal selection for a tour event that includes sit-down meals.
- Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the any attendee to provide for their special dietary requirements on tours.
- The LCCA will make its best effort working with the convention hotel to provide for the necessary dietary requirements of attendees at its paid events – Get Acquainted Party/Banquet.
- While the LCCA wants every attendee to have the best possible experience, it cannot provide nor guarantee the unique dietary needs of individual attendees will be met.
