LCCA Success and Hotel Room Rates

It is clear LCCA members are eager for a convention! After a two-year hiatus, the pent-up demand has been unleashed, to an even greater degree than we convention planners could have expected. And that kind of success often comes some growing pains. The LCCA has negotiated an addendum to our contract allocating additional rooms for Friday through Sunday July 22-24. more

LCCA Raffles Off Dome Car Seats for its Convention Train Ride. The Tennessee Central Dome Car has 20 seats available on the LCCA's Sunday July 24th train ride. These seats are being offered in pairs as prizes in a raffle drawing, offering each member the opportunity to ride in the dome car. There aren't many dome cars left, let alone rideable. There will not be many more opportunities to ride in such a style in the days and years ahead! more

LCCA Announces Covid Policy for the 2022 Convention

The LCCA takes the safety and wellbeing of all its members seriously. This is especially important when members meet at Special Events with a particular emphasizing personal safety at The Annual Convention and Business Meeting. Covid is difficult to address, with so much uncertainty and with such strong individual personal feelings on how each individual wants to protect themselves from this virus. more

Changes in convention tours 3/18 and Tour 15

We have been notified by our venues of time and itinerary changes for Tours # 3 & # 18. The second floor of the Tennessee State Capitol Building is under restoration at this time, and we will not be able to visit there. We will still have access to the 1st floor where most of the tour takes place. Also, our Tour # 15 has a slight change as the venue pushed back the opening time at the civil war homes we will be visiting. more
