The LCCA has announced it had released its new updated website – lionelcollectors.org. Members and guests will be delighted with the new site’s features and improved performance. The site is built to work on mobile devices, has better site navigation, quicker response, and will be easier for the club to update, saving resources.

The new site is built on commercial grade software (Sitefinity and WooCommerce) and is hosted by Microsoft AWS servers. The site offers several improvements. The new site will:

• Be scalable, offering easier viewing for phones and tablets
• Offer quicker response time
• Make ordering the LCCA online store easier
• Eliminate delays in store purchases
• Provide direct access to eTrak
• Offer a direct link to ‘Ask the Expert’
• Offer the opportunity to ‘comment’ on each page
• Provide contact information on each page
• Utilize most current web building language and technology
• Be a synergistic integration of all programs into one united site

The LCCA is proud to offer this new site to its members. The former site was a true internet veteran, serving over 22 years (a long time for a website), and was built on what was then current technology. The former site has served us well but needed a refresh. The new current site shares the same URL lionelcollectors.org, but under the hood it is new and improved, offering visitors a much better web experience.
