The Lionel Collectors Club of America is proud of its efforts to introduce younger kids to the Model Train Hobby. The LCCA offers a junior membership to kids 18 and under who would like the opportunity to join our hobby club and participate in all the LCCA has to offer. Officially called the "Lionel Kids Club by the LCCA", junior members (JM) receive hard copies of our magazine The Lion Roars and the online version of a special magazine for JM's, the Lion Cub.
The LCCA fully supports its JM program as an integral part of its policy, allocating club resources specifically for the Kids. We know all kids love trains and the JM program is one way to develop further interest into the hobby. JM's have the opportunity to submit materials and see them published in The Lion Cub. Our Junior Member coordinator offers periodic contents and article submission awards to encourage kids to excel. Parents, grandparents and others can gift a Junior Member membership to a child for one year.
