has been cancelled. The show will still be held.

LCCA will be a sponsor of Ozarks Model Railroad Association (OMRA) TRAIN SHOW at the Springfield Expo Center, 635 St. Louis Street, Springfield, MO, on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. Admission is $7, with children under 12 admitted free with a paid adult. A food bar will be open at the site for convenience.  This well-established annual event in the heartland includes operating layouts, more than 150 tables of trains, models, and RR memorabilia. OMRA provides great door prizes, including a Grand Prize of tickets for two on the A&M railroad based in Springdale, Arkansas..

Look for the LCCA table with an operating tabletop train layout, club-sponsored products for "show-n-tell," display copies of TLR, TLC, and the IT, and club literature for visitors while the supplies last. LCCA Rep Mike Mottler (RM 12394) will be on hand to "talk trains" and welcome visitors. To volunteer some time at the club's table, contact Mike at: mottlerm@gmail.com. Membership Enrollment forms will be offered to prospective new Regular Members and Junior Members who show an interest in the best toy train club on the planet. The train set in operation that day will be presented to the holder of a winning raffle ticket, which will be sold for $1 each with a limit of five tickets. Every new member enrolled will receive ten FREE raffle tickets for use at his/her discretion. In addition, selected LCCA-sponsored products will be displayed and offered to visitors in a FREE raffle. This well-planned and effectively presented annual event regularly attracts more than 1,500 visitors.
