January 28-29, 2017 – LCCA to Attend Trains, Trains, Trains in Kennesaw, GA
The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History will host the seventh annual installment of its flagship Trains, Trains, Trains event on Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29. This must-see event for families in the area will be held from 9:30am to 5:00pm both days.
Visit the LCCA table and talk Lionel Trains with our representatives.
This year’s event will feature several new and expanded train layouts. Modular modelers from around the Southeast will join forces to create some of the biggest layouts this event has seen. Athens Bend Track, whose N-scale layout in the Cobb Gallery last year was a huge hit, is teaming up with South Carolina Bend Track to fill the Gallery with an even bigger, even more detailed layout! Last year’s layout featured everything from a model railroad yard to a model drive-in theater to a fight between a miniature King Kong and a miniature T-Rex, so make sure you stop in to see all the neat details – who knows what you’ll find?
Trains, Trains, Trains 2017 will bring back some of last year’s favorite bluegrass musicians, an expanded General Emporium gift shop with new shirts and toys, and several interactive layouts for kids of all ages to enjoy!
Museum admission for the event is $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors, $5.50 for children ages 4-12, and free for children three and under as well as Museum members.
Pre-sale tickets will be available online beginning in January, so save time and skip the line by buying tickets early! For more information, call 770-427-2117 ext. 3058. For additional information www.southernmuseum.org/
