Sept 27-28 - LCCA Invites You to “Griffith Railroad Fair” in Griffith IN
The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) invite you to attend and participate in the Griffith Railroad Fair. Stop by the LCCA table and meet with members Chuck Shearman Rich Perrott, Jim Wozniak, John Mateyko and talk trains. Show Chuck your LCCA membership card and receive a LCCA Special Event item. Join the LCCA at the Griffith Railroad Fair which has been going on for over 25 years. The fair will be held 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday September 27th and Sunday September 28, 2014.
The main location is at 201 South Broad Street, Griffith, IN 46319. This is at the former crossing of 5 mainline railroads and includes a station and an old signal tower. Currently the CN (EJE) and the CN (GTW) now cross at this location. This site has a small station with old artifacts and a switch tower that will be open along with 5 railroad cars that will be painted up for the former "Fallen Flags". There will be a shuttle bus between the railroad crossing, the High Rail Scale layout, in an old school basement, and a large city park which is few blocks down the street. All venues are on the same street, Broad Street.
