September 14 "Second Annual TW TrainWorx Layout Festival" Dallas TX (Recap)
All of the LCCA members and their families had a great time at TW TrainWorx’s "Second Annual Layout Festival" This Special Event featured more than a dozen "O" & "S" Gauge toy train layouts in operation all day long. LCCA members Roger & Dorcie Farkash made arrangements to have the BNSF Corporate toy train layout be operational during this "Second Annual Train Layout Festival/LCCA Special Event". LCCA members had the opportunity to see a 7' X 12' section of the Lionel Corporate Layout and Lionel Operating Tower Displays; Ronald McDonald House of Dallas/Trains at NorthPark and LCCA's Mini Layout. There were more than 3 dozen trains operating simultaneously at all times. Roger and Dorcie entertained the crowd with music performed by a live Jazz band. What more can you ask for? Lionel Trains, World class layouts, live music entertainment and great camaraderie with other LCCA members! WOW!
TW TrainWorx had their new LCCA/Lionel FasTrack Modular Railroad layout in operation. This gave our members who were not able to attend LCCA's 43rd Annual convention this past summer in Chattanooga TN an opportunity to see this new modular standard in operation. TW TrainWorx’s LCCA/Lionel FasTrack Modular Railroad layout featured their new drop down section. TW TrainWorx's new Lionel/LCCA FasTrack Modular Railroad layout features more details, switches, sidings and demonstrates more scenic displays, custom designed buildings and TW TrainWorx kit buildings, bridges etc. We believe this new modular layout standard will introduce the magic of Lionel trains to an entire new generation of train enthusiasts.

-Special proceeds to benefit Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
Thank you all for bringing your friends and families to this Lionel train filled event. Special Proceeds were generated and will be donated to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. The Ronald McDonald Foundation provides a home-away-from-home for those families whose child is in the hospital receiving much needed medical care for their serious illness.
The Second Annual TrainWorx Train Layout Festival helped out the Ronald McDonald House. LCCA members had the opportunity to meet with Roger & Dorcie Farkash, and the Traingineers at TrainWorx who create these masterpiece layouts. LCCA President Dennis DeVito and his wife Phyllis were there meeting with members and guests while promoting the club. Choo Choo Bob, formerly known "Cowboy" and "Captain" Bob Carter was there having fun with our fellow members during this event. TW TrainWorx was selling a special collectors, TW TrainWorx billboard insert in LCCA’s new 100% Made In America Billboard Frame sets.
Thank you to Roger and Dorcie Farkash, the entire TW TrainWorx Team for hosting such a wonderful, fun, Lionel train filled and worthwhile event. The monies generated will go to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Thank you all for attending, and we hope you will continue to attend and participate in future LCCA Special Events.
