August 24-25 LCCA/CTTG Toy Train Auction -Denver
Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) and the Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC (CTTG) will co-sponsor their sixth consecutive Public Toy Train Auction, August 24th and 25th, 2013 in the Denver suburb of Westminster, Colorado. Bidders will have a great array of G, HO, N, O, and Standard Gauge trains, track, and accessories to bid on, spread throughout 820+ lots in the 2-day auction.
HO Gauge collectors and operators will find 90+ lots of locomotives, freight and passenger cars, buildings, accessories, and a layout section containing a turn table and roundhouse. N Gauge collectors and operators will find an assortment of engines, cars and a small, fully-detailed layout.
There are 10 lots of G Gauge trains, including LGB and Bachmann locomotives, and freight and passenger cars. Then there are six flats of G Gauge repair parts.
The Standard Gauge collectors will bid on 24 lots of pre-war Ives and Lionel locomotives, and freight and passenger cars in addition to modern Blue Comet and Presidential locomotives and passenger cars.
O Gauge collectors and operators will have a wide variety of engines, cars, accessories, and track to bid on from the other 680 lots. You will find a few pre-war and post-war Lionel locomotives, and a large array of modern Lionel, MTH, Red Caboose, and Williams steam and diesel locomotives. There is a vast array of freight and passenger cars to match the various locomotives. Modern Lionel sets 31728, 31958, 31960, and 51010 will be auctioned as well.
The auction also includes an assortment of die cast vehicles and farm implements, and framed railroad photographs.
