LCCA Gathers At Smokey Bones Restaurant-York for Fun Casual Evening (recap)
On 4-17-13, Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) members gathered at Smokey Bones restaurant in York PA for a casual Dutch Treat Dinner Event. Members from all over the country came together for an evening of fun with fellow members and good barbecue food. Members came from Texas, Michigan, Florida, Arizona and as far as California. LCCA Presdent Dennis DeVito was on hand greeting members and providing them with commemorative LCCA pins and un-cut billboard sheets. Over 65 members had an opportunity to share a few laughs with many of the LCCA Board of Directors in attendance. The highlight of the evening was an opportunity to see and touch the pre-production sample of the operating coal ramp accessory currently being developed by the LCCA. This product will be manufactured and assembled in America.
We had some special guests join us this evening. LCCA members Dick and Linda Kughn, former owners of Lionel, attended this event and enjoyed meeting with our fellow members. It was great to see Linda and Dick having so much fun. Thank your Dick and Linda for your continued support of the LCCA. We appreciate all of the members for attending and participating in this LCCA Special Event.
