April 27/28 Joint LCCA/CTTG Train Auction
The Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC, and the Lionel Collectors Club of America will co-sponsor their fifth public toy train auction on April 27th and 28th. The auction will be held at The Ranch, 11887 Tejon Street, Westminster, Colorado. Bidders will have an incredible array of G, HO, N, O and S Gauge trains and accessories to bid on, spread throughout 850+ lots of toy trains.
There are 400+ lots of pre and post-war, and modern Atlas, K-Line, Lionel, Marx, MTH, Weaver, and Williams O Gauge trains. Those attending will find 300+ lots HO trains, with a tremendous assortment of Civil War theme engines and cars. Plenty of HO DCC-equipped locomotives are also in the auction, as are 100+ HO building kits. A great selection of modern S Gauge engines is also featured.
A wide variety of O Gauge locomotives are available, including 25 post-war and modern steam engines and 32 post-war and modern diesel locomotives. Two maroon top 2321 locomotives, compliment 100+ post-war freight cars and 50+ post-war operating cars. Over 100 Marx engines and pieces of rolling stock are available. Hard-to-find O Gauge cars from clubs such as LCCA, LOTS, LRRC, and TTOS will keep everyone interested throughout the auction. Be sure to check out these sets and locomotives: 1350, 1450, 1672, 1868, 12866, and 17246 sets; plus 50, 68, 342, 736, 1615, and 18107 locomotives.
The HO Gauge Civil War-era listings are fantastic: locomotives, freight cars, and passenger cars by Bachmann, Trian, Tyco, Mantua, IHC, Roundhouse, and Walthers. Most are built, though some are in kit form. Buildings kits and detail items include those by Magnuson Models, Model Masterpieces, Classic Miniatures, Dyna Models, AIM Products, City Classics, RR Design, Jordan, and others. There are 35+ lots of detail figures and accessories by Rustic Rails Pewter, Merton, Prieser and Jordan. The De Witt Clinton, Lafayette, Confederate Civil War, Union Civil War, and John Bull are set highlights.
Modern HO trains include 300+ lots of rolling stock by Atlas, Athearn, Proto 2000, Kadee, Mantua, Bachman, and Trix, complimented with 19 DCC-equipped western-themed engines, and two Challenger Imports Brass GP 30s.
