2012 Special Events Calendar
The LCCA will be reaching out to members around the country through our Special Events programs. Special Events will include a mixture of activities including train shows, museum visits, meet and greets, "let's talk trains" local gatherings, partnering with local train clubs, and many more activities.
The goal of President Dennis DeVito is to "reach out and touch" 2,000 members before the next convention. Here is the current schedule of Special Events - all LCCA members are encouraged to consider attending these activities. When you do, identify yourself as an LCCA member.
The LCCA is seeking new opportunities for Special Events. Feel free to contact the Special Events Director - Al Kolis (agkolis@comcast.net) with suggestions or comments.

February 25/26 -WGHOT Portland, OR (LCCA will have booth next to Lionel) **
March 10/11 - WGHOT Cincinnati, OH (LCCA will have booth next to Lionel) **
March 10/11 - Denver, CO - LCCA/CTTG Joint meet/Auction
March 18 - Crown Point, IN - Train Show at St. Matthias
March 24/25 - Mndelein, IL - Circus Display with North Central Model Railroad Club
April 12 - Kennesaw Georgia - Great Train Chase event (150th anniversary of chase)
May 19 - Versailles, KY - Train Show / meet / special event
July 23/28 - 42nd Annual Convention - Norfolk, VA
** Note LCCA members will be able to purchase some recent LCCA commemoratives and LCCA store merchandise and meet LCCA officials at the event. New members may join at the event.
