LCCA Extends Order Deadline Date for Burlington #216 Set

The Lionel Collectors Club of America has decided to extend the deadline order date for the exclusive LCCA Burlington #216 set. To give as many members as possible an opportunity to order this set, the deadline has been extended to February 28, 2010.

The club is proud to offer this modern version of the extremely rare 1958 Lionel Diesel Set #1600 with all-new Magne-Traction plus horn and bell sounds. This item will be LCCA’s last postwar era train set made by Lionel exclusively for our members. The improvements made to this set will be implemented in the future in Lionel’s own Postwar Classics line. Yes, the LCCA is partially involved in Lionel’s development of the new Magne-Traction system.

Members can purchase this train as a Basic Set with four pieces for $469.95 or as an Extended Set with eight pieces for $699.90, as shown in recent issues of IT and TLR. There are no extra charges for S&H&I for delivery in the continental United States. Minnesota sales tax applies to residents of that state (only).
