"Halloween" General Set Add-on #1, Sheriff & Outlaw car
When we asked "What can we do to improve the value of the 2004 remake of the Halloween General set?", the answer was "Offer an ad-on car!".
And here it is - a Lionel operating car designed to match the "Halloween" General set exclusively for LCCA members. The whimsical operating car features a lawman and a bandit in action according to the western theme of the set. The orange and black color scheme is appropriate for the scariest holiday of the year and the original decor of this special set.
This purchase-by-mail offer is only available to LCCA members who ordered the "Halloween" General set in 2004 and have remained members of the club through the time of set delivery. Because the production run will be limited to no more than the number of "Halloween" General sets made, it will become a rare collectible instantly.
The car is made and decorated by Lionel and has metal (not plastic) trucks. The action figures move continually when the car is in motion through the original-style gear mechanism.
Owners of the 2004 LCCA "Halloween" General set by Lionel will want to add this unique operating car to their set. Members who ordered the set should receive an order form in the mail. This offer is valid through November 30, 2004 - so order now. Delivery is scheduled for December 2004.
