January 7, 8 2017, LCCA Attends Carnegie Science Center Recap
LCCA Members Paul Kwiecinski, Luke Kwiecinski and Marty Eibeck participated in an LCCA Special Event at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh PA. Each year the Carnegie Science Center sponsors a Locomotion Days event where local train organizations setup information tables and train layouts. The LCCA participated again this year by setting up a small layout to let children run some Lionel trains. Over 200 children had a chance to run some trains including Thomas the Tank Engine and a Bethlehem Steel switcher. The Bethlehem Steel Lion Chief set was won by one lucky family that day in a free raffle. It was a fun event that we plan on doing again next year.
