Bobby Stricklin held a 2 day LCCA Sponsored Open House open house to display both his layouts and in Support of the Longest Day Alzheimer’s Association. In addition to the enjoyment of the Trains and Museum Quality Displays and pictures, nearly $3500 dollars was raised in support of this organization. Visitors came from as far away as Florida. More than 100 participated and a lot of visitors were youngsters. On Sunday father and son combos participated and on Monday two groups of home schoolers attended. Of note Rich and Kathy Dissosway (LCCA members from Lewisville NC – near Winston Salem) were in attendance. The Dissosways hosted their own special event in the past year.
