November 28-29, 2015 - LCCA hosts Toy Train Club - Crown Point, IN (Recap)
The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) had a great time and a lot of fun during a two day train show sale and swap meet meld this past weekend in Crown Point IN. LCCA Immediate Past-President Dennis DeVito, President Al Kolis and Santa himself were there meeting with LCCA members from all around the country, Santa greeted kids of all ages. The LCCA's Switching Tracks Traveling Boxcar made a special guest appearance and met with our members.
This Crown Point event is special as it is one of the first Train Shows sponsored and put on by volunteers from Multiple train clubs. With the LCCA as originating club, our sister clubs including the TCA, TTOS and a number of local clubs came together at the end of this holiday weekend.
Thanks go out to show LCCA member and show host Joe Algozzini, all if the club members volunteers who helped out at the LCCA display and of of the members who stopped by the LCCA table and had fun.! Welcome all new members who joined the club this past weekend. Let's start of this holiday season on the right track and make it a Lionel train filled time.
