JM's and Lenny at WGHOT Train Shows
During the past World's Greatest Hobby on Tour Show in Cincinnati Ohio, Lenny the Lion made a guest appearance and ran some Lionel Trains on the new LCCA mini-layout. This layout which was designed and built by TW Design of Dallas TX demonstrates what can be done in a relatively small space. Two loops of track (one O-27 and the other O-31) operate in a space of just a mere 13 square feet. There is plenty of room for operating accessories and landscaping. Imagine having a small Lionel Layout in your bedroom, stored underneath your bed. Just think what can be done on a small board that you can slide in and out from underneath your bed. Let your imagination go wild and create your own small layout.
Talk to your parents and make plans to attend our 42 Annual convention July 23-28, 2012 at the Marriott Waterside hotel in Norfolk VA. You will get an opportunity to see many Lionel toy train layouts in operation. Lionel will be operating their massive 65' operating layout and display. This impressive layout was also designed and built by TW Design of Dallas TX. This layout features Lionel's current products and accessories. Come and meet with Representatives from Lionel. The Pittsburgh PA Hi-Railers and the Tidewater O-Gauge Association will also be bringing their large modular operating layouts. Bring your trains and run them on these fun layouts. The LCCA's new modular FastTrack layout is scheduled to be introduced to our members during this convention. This will be the first public appearance for this new and creative project that will demonstrate an unique national modular standard featuring Lionel's Fastrack.
