LCCA Tours win ADMEI Achievement Award for 2014 Convention
Congratulations to our Destination Management Company (DMC), Accent on Indy and especially to the Director of Event Services, Kaylin Dedinsky for receiving the 2015 Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Achievement Award for Best Creative Event – Best Tour Program: “Toot,Toot! Tours on Track” featuring the LCCA Tours at our Annual Convention last year in Indianapolis. What an honor for not only Kaylin and the Accent on Indy staff, but also the LCCA!
On February 14th, at their annual conference, ADMEI announced the winners of their annual Achievement Awards. The awards made by ADMEI are given in recognition of the best of the best in the DMC world!
ADMEI is an organization that seeks to increase the professionalism and effectiveness of destination management through member and industry education, establishment of standards and ethical practices. Owners, CEOs, and executives of the most experienced and long-standing destination management companies in existence for the framework of ADMEI. Since 1995 ADMEI has raised the level of awareness of the value of destination management to the respective association, corporate and general public.
The ADMEI Achievement Awards recognize the best in destination management. The Best Creative Activity Awards, which includes Best Tour Program, recognize DMCs for their creativity in developing tour programs, recreational activities, destination marketing, public events, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
Accent on Indy is a member of the DMC Network. The DMC Network is unique to the industry and an LLC of the top-performing, independently owned DMCs throughout North America. With an average of over 25 years in business and 100% of its members accredited through the Association of Destination Management Executives International. This was the first award of this type of recognition that Accent on Indy has received.
