Meet LCCA Charter Member #33, Johnny Ourso

As part of our year-long celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Lionel Collectors Club of America, we want to introduce one of the Charter Members of the LCCA. Watch the video below and see our meeting with Johnny Ourso (CM 33) of Tucson, Arizona. Johnny has served the club in numerous volunteer positions, including Vice President, Director, and other officer positions since the club originated in 1970.

The LCCA has come a long way since Johnny first responded to an inquiry from Charter Member #1 and club founder Jim Gates of Iowa. Johnny, his wife Fran, and grandson Ryan Fiore (JM 28715) attend our annual Conventions on a regular basis, and they are a vital part of our Convention volunteer team. Johnny’s grandson Ryan is a Junior Member of the club and plans to participate and perpetuate the LCCA in the years to come. Come to the LCCA’s 40th Annual Convention this July 25-31, 2010, at the Denver Marriott Tech Center Hotel and meet Johnny and his family.
