June 1 - LCCA is Headed Back to Buffalo NY for Open House Toy Train Event

How Ya Doing!! We will return to the Buffalo area on June 1 at the home of Lou and Roseanna Merzacco in Wheatfield, NY, for an Open House lunch and Lionel train event. Seeing Lou's layout is well worth the trip! A second train layout in the home of Lou's nearby neighbor and hobby friend, Lou Scozzafava, will be included, so this will be a "Two for One" Special Event! more

The LCCA invites you to attend the third annual Train Show in the Columbia Mall in Bloomsburg PA on Saturday, May 18,2013. This family friendly train show will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 10 am to 4-5 pm. Set up time is 7 am to 10 am. more

March 1/2 2014 - LCCA/Lionel FasTrack Modular Railroad Layout in Florida

Florida, Palmetto - RealRail is holding its 36th Annual Train & Model Railroad Expo on March 1 & 2, 2014 at the Manatee Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd. Hours will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, and from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday. Attractions will include more than 150 tables, six layouts, as well as the famous Tampa Lego Group and the S-Scale disaster. more

Save the date, March 15, 2014 LCCA Special Event Returns to the Heartland (Springfield MO) Train Show & Swap Meet. May 4 - Special Event in Marceline, MO - Walt Disney Museum

The LCCA will be present in Marceline, MO – the hometown of Walt Disney – on May 4 for an all-day celebration of the Disney legacy through story exhibits at the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, BNSF locomotive and train car exhibits, and the Second Annual Model Train Show and Sale at the Walsworth Community Center (WCC). more

LCCA Members Have A Blast - Lionel/LCCA Red Carpet Event in Concord (recap)

Lionel and the LCCA hosted a true Red Carpet Event in Concord NC on Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23. The first of kind event was held at the new offices of Lionel. This open house event provided our members with an "up close and personal" glimpse of Lionel's operations there. more

LCCA is proud to announce a Special Event commemorating the 151st Anniversary of The Great Train Chase of 1862. See an all day event (April 13, 2013) in Paterson NJ to commemorate the 151st Anniversary of the Great Train Chase of 1862. We will have several activities planned at the Paterson Museum throughout the day with activities in the afternoon at the NJ Hi-Railers club followed by a private buffet dinner in the evening (see schedule of events below) . more

March 16 Special Event in Springfield, MO (Event Recap)

The Train Show presented by the Ozark Model Railroad Association (OMRA) and co-sponsored as a Special Event by the LCCA included several participative activities for families with children. The FasTrack Layout Building Contest (FLBC) developed by TLR Editor Mike Mottler (RM 12394) was presented through LCCA as part of that trend. more

Mar 9/10 LCCA Has Another Successful Special Event In California (Recap) .

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) was out west in California again for a two day train show and expo at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara CA on March 9 & 10, 2013. On Saturday March 9 at 12:00 LCCA Immediate Past President and Special Events Manager Al Kolis conducted a clinic introducing the new LCCA/Lionel FasTrack Modular Railroad system. more
