LCCA - a Great Sept Weekend Full of Family Friendly Special Events (Recap)

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) had a busy and successful weekend with three great Special Events. LCCA Members and their families enjoyed events in Florida, near Chicago, IL and Wichita KS this past weekend. Thank you LCCA members, Herb Koch, John Flinn, Michael Broggie, Ed Richter and LCCA President Dennis DeVito for hosting and representing the club at these great fun-filled events! more

November 16/17 Joint LCCA/CTTG Train Auction - Special Event

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) and the Colorado Toy Train Group, LLC (CTTG) are proud to be co-sponsoring the sixth public toy train auction on November 16th and 17th, 2013. The auction will be held at The Ranch, 11887 Tejon Street, Westminster, Colorado. It is not too early to make your plans to attend this great two day event. more

Sept 21/2-2013 - The LCCA Norfolk VA Area for Successful Train Show (recap)

The Lionel Collectors Club of America returned to the Norfolk VA area for a successful September 21/22, 2013 Tidewater Train Show. As part of LCCA President Dennis DeVito's plan to reach out and touch 2300 members this year, the LCCA designated this show as a LCCA Special Event. LCCA club Secretary, Harry Hampson and his lovely wife Bridget met with about 30 LCCA members and greeted visitors who stopped by the LCCA table on both Saturday and Sunday. more

September 14 "Second Annual TW TrainWorx Layout Festival" Dallas TX (Recap)

All of the LCCA members and their families had a great time at TW TrainWorx’s "Second Annual Layout Festival" This Special Event featured more than a dozen "O" & "S" Gauge toy train layouts in operation all day long. LCCA members Roger & Dorcie Farkash made arrangements to have the BNSF Corporate toy train layout be operational during this "Second Annual Train Layout Festival/LCCA Special Event". more

March 15, 2014 - LCCA Special Event Aboard Pere Marquette 1225 Steam Train

The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) is proud to announce a special steam train excursion headed up by the Pere Marquette No 1225 Steam Locomotive engine on Saturday, March 15, 2014. The LCCA is offering seats aboard the LCCA’s reserved passenger cars as part of 'Railyard Productions’ “1225 Return to Rails Excursion” round trip inaugural run from Owosso MI to Clare MI. more

December 12/31 - North Little Rock, AR - Lionels at Laman

The dates for ALL ABOARD - LIONELS AT LAMAN will be: December 12 - 31 during regular Library hours. The Library is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Last year, more than 5,100 visitors attended this event. more

Dec 14 - Annual Holiday Open House - Lewisville, NC

December 14, 2013 - Lewisville, North Carolina. Rich and Kathy Dissosway (LCCA Member RM 28158) will host their 9th Annual Christmas Holiday Train Party and Open House at their home in Lewisville, NC on Saturday, December 14th from 4:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M more

LCCA Is Coming to Town - To TrainFest and to the World's Greatest Hobby on Tour Shows! ...Perhaps to a town near you. Come and meet your all-volunteer management team of the Lionel Collectors Club of America when we are in your part of the country. The LCCA is committed to helping introduce the club and Lionel toy trains to a generation that may not have grown up playing with Lionel trains as children. The LCCA returns to Milwaukee to attend 2014 TrainFest, one of the premier train shows in the country. Part Train show, part hobby show, part layout tour - and a general good time for the whole family! more
