Recently, the Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) had a chance to meet up with LCCA member and Host of the Notch6 podcast, Derek Thomas. Notch6 refers to the most frequently used throttle position on diesel electromotive engines. www.notch6.com is the first podcast dedicated to O-gauge model trains and the hobby. MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 15, 2013 LIONEL COLLECTORS CLUB OF AMERICA

The Board of Directors of The Lionel Collectors Club of America met on Thursday August 15, 2013 at the behest of President, Dennis DeVito who called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM EDT. Members of the board had previously been notified of the meeting by email from the Immediate Past President. Each member was asked to confirm their availability for participation in the conference call by notifying the club Secretary, Harry Hampson. more

The LCCA has held a Board of Directors (BOD) Meeting to address the issue of Presidency and the replacement for President Caponi due to his death. To cite the LCCA Constitution, Article IV, Section 2, paragraph a, "by which the Immediate Past President is to assume the office of President for the unexpired term in the event of a vacancy in the office of President". The approval of the Board of Directors is required for implementation of this action. more
