After an unexpected, different type of year overwhelmingly focused on a pandemic, the LCCA has decided to Salute Our First Responders who have worked tirelessly to evaluate, treat, and vaccinate our nation with a Assembled in the USA Boxcar from Lionel.
This car has special graphics on both sides saluting our First Responders with nods to those in the medical and safety professions. All of those represented are wearing masks, a reference to the seriousness of Covid to us all. The car Boldly and Appreciably states "Thank You FRONTLINERS. For your service to the Nation, we salute you! Please Stay Safe!". The box car doors are dated 2021 as the year we finally vaccinated against this virus. The car roof and doors are black, the roof a reminder of the dangers of Covid.
