"The “Art” of Train Art” Seminar Hosted By Angela Trotta Thomas (July 25, Indianapolis IN).  The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) is proud to announce that LCCA Member Angela Trotta Thomas will be conducting “The "Art" of Train Art” seminar on Friday afternoon July 25 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marriott East Hotel during our 44th Annual  Convention.  Angela is a renown Lionel licensed artist whose work has been exhibited in the Smithsonian Museum and featured in numerous Lionel catalog covers and LCCA publications, The Lion Roars.  This seminar will be open to all LCCA members and their families who register and attend this convention.  Come and spend an hour with Angela as she will explain her design thought process when she creates a Lionel painting and private commissions.  Angela will be doing some drawing demonstrations for adults and children!  Angela plans to set the children up to draw and then give her presentation.  You can join in the drawing or just take in the presentation, whichever is most enjoyable for you.  Angela looks forward to seeing you there!
 
There is still time to join the club, register for our convention and attend this seminar.  Just stop by the LCCA registration desk at the Marriott East hotel in Indianapolis.  Walk ins are always welcome.  Remember, our only rule is to have FUN!

Also, If you are not an LCCA member,  we invite you to attend our Free Public Train Show on Saturday July 26 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Marriott East Hotel in Indianapolis IN.  Hundreds of LCCA members will come from all over our country to buy, sell and trade toy trains and related items.  Come and meet with Angela Trotta Thomas, who will have her original artwork and prints available for purchase during this train show.  Come and see Lionel’s operating layouts and display, plus other operating Toy Train Layouts.  TW TrainWorx of Dallas TX will have their Lionel/LCCA FasTrack Modular Railroad layout set up and operational Tuesday –Saturday July 22-26.  Queen City High Railers (QCHR) from Cincinnati OH will have their 35’ X 50’ modular layout open for public viewing on Friday evening July 25 and during the Saturday train show from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday July 26.   On Saturday, Chicagoland Lionel Club will host "train drag races" and bring their family friendly drag race track, where kids of all ages will be able to run their favorite toy train engine and race against each other.  So bring your O-gauge train engines and enter the friendly competition.  Come and experience the Magic of  Lionel trains on Lionel’s operating layout and display.  This will be a great event for the kids!   Spread the Word and invite your family and friends to this show, I am certain they will all have FUN!
