The public is invited to come see and experience the magic of Lionel trains running on this wonderful layout and cheer the honorable mayor on as he becomes an engineer for a day. This special event is free and kids of all ages will be amazed at the sights and sounds that Lionel has incorporated into their latest model train engines.

The LCCA is working with the local Virginian Make-A-Wish Foundation (MAW) to invite a special child to participate in this layout opening ceremony.  To see images from the ceremony during the LCCA Convention in Dallas TX last year, click on the video link. Mayor at Opening Ceremony - Last year
