LCCA/NCOG Special Run September 24, 2011

On Saturday, September 24, 2011, the North Central O Gaugers (NCOG) Model Railroad Club is having a special run at the Ela Township Public Library, from 9 AM to 3 PM. The library is located at 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich, IL. This Special Run is one of four that the NCOG club is having this year, with an area Public Library.

In conjunction with this special run, NCOG is pleased to host a Special Event with the Lionel Collectors Club of America. LCCA members are invited to join us at the library for a day of watching and talking trains with members of the NCOG club. LCCA is donating a gift for a special raffle for LCCA and NCOG members attending the event. The LCCA is also donating a starter train set for the club to raffle off to guests and visitors to the library. NCOG members are not eligible for this set.

The NCOG Model Railroad Club is comprised of a group of model train enthusiasts that like to run O Gauge trains. The club has a permanent layout on the second floor of the Fremont Public Library, located at 1170 N Midlothian Road, Mundelein, IL. The club also has a traveling layout that it sets up at area libraries for special runs, such as the one at Ela Library. Additional special runs include Highland Park Public Library in October, and Deerfield Public Library in December. Regular runs occur at Fremont on the second Saturday of each month, except for November.
