Visit to Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club, a convention tour
The LCCA was present at the celebration of the 24th Annual Winter Party of the Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club. The CLRC will be a stop on one of the Convention tours to visit the clubhouse and view one of the premier layouts in the country. The major portion of the layout has been reconstructed and improved in layout design and to allow for better operations and viewing.
This 24th anniversary event occurred in mid-February 2018, a cold Saturday with considerable new snow to challenge travel. But most were able to come, to celebrate and to feast while they enjoyed a Pot Luck Buffet.
When you stop in say hello to President Herb Koch the rest of the members of this successful club. They are well on their way to finalizing the scenery and improving the already wonderful layout. Bring this photo with and compare progress made between now and the convention.
