A Train Open House event sponsored by the Central Arkansas Model Railroad Club (CAMRC) will be held from
9 to 3 on Saturday
December 5, 2015

Features:
A Great Lionel Train Race Contest
Co-sponsored by the Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) and CAMRC, an on-the-floor layout of four separate loops of track with four Lionel THOMAS-series trains – Thomas, James, Percy, and Diesel – will be ready to run. Entry to the contest is free and fun. Family teams of a Junior Engineer and a parent as Coach may run the four trains around the four loops using a hand-held wireless controller in a race against the clock. Up to 60 family teams can participate in one of three age-related divisions. The winner and runner-up of each division will receive hobby-related prizes, and all contestants will receive a ribbon. A Lionel train set valued at $200 provided by the LCCA will be presented to the championship team.
